Meat products labelling and identification marking system

The system is based on a specialized Lillosigillo labelling machine and aims to facilitate sausage batch traceability. The labels are placed immediately after the sausages are filled (netting, even wet; bags of different kind of plastic; plastic or cotton netting) using ultrasound. The date, ‘best before’ date, batch/lot number correspondent to a certain recipe, raw materials and additives of certain origin can be printed on the label simultaneously with its attachment. Quick dry inks suitable for food contact are used. Heat processing, smoking and curing have no effect on the label shape and colours. The labels can be pre-printed with the company logo, sanitary number and barcode on them.
